My Story
I am a board certified and licensed Occupational Therapist based in New York City. For me, Occupational Therapy is a unique field that recognizes each injury carries its own physical, emotional, and mental imprint on a person. It is why my goal is to design and innovate treatment programs that are tailored to the specific needs of an individual, so that each person can heal towards the highest potential for meaningful recovery.

I provide rehabilitation for general orthopedic injuries and specialize in neurorehabilition for people who have acquired brain injuries or spinal cord injuries. More specifically, I offer integrated treatment programs that incorporate osteopathic manual techniques with neurorehabilitation to facilitate alignment and optimize motor recovery. Treatment programs are grounded on theories of motor development and are designed to optimize neural restructuring post injury. The purpose is to bridge the divide between academic theories and clinical practice.

While my practice is primarily based in New York City, I have completed work abroad, including being a teacher’s assistant for Dr. Steven Sanet—founder of the Osteopathic College of Ontario—in Seoul, South Korea and here in New York City. Additional areas of interest include volunteering abroad to treat children with neurological injuries, including Chile and Mongolia.

My Philosophy
I believe healing is a personal journey that can be shouldered by a therapist to provide scientific grounding, clinical experience, and human compassion. The decision to heal is a personal investment in one’s own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. As a therapist, I believe it is my work and privilege to utilize my intellectual, creative, and compassionate capacity to design treatment plans to help someone heal. This is my motivation for continued professional and personal growth.
